Glenn Moxley
Glenn, my eldest son, lives in Llanelli, South Wales, with his partner Julia, two rescue dogs — Hendrix who is a Dogue de Bordeaux, Honey, who is half Chow Chow and half French bulldog — and Herbie the rescue cockatiel.
Glenn and Julia have bought a coffee shop in the town — 3 Cowell Street, Llanelli, SA15 1UU. The cafe was originally named Beachside Coffee Shop as the previous owners liked to decorate it with coastal items and pictures. However, as the cafe is about a mile from the beach, it seemed more sensible to change its name. It is now known as the Tiny Little Caffi (TLC) and they are gradually updating the interior.
The café seats 27 downstairs, with outside seating for 4 in warmer weather, so it's not as tiny as you may think. There is also an enormous room upstairs seating a further 20, which can be hired out for clubs, parties, meetings, weddings, etc.
Glenn has now obtained his alcohol licence which is a bonus for anyone wanting a glass of wine with their lunch, or drinks which can be served at events upstairs. Along with their music licence, they can serve alcohol drinks until 1am at weekends.
The café (caffi in Welsh) provides high-chairs for babies and is dog friendly with Dewkes dog treats available in store. Glenn is a qualified chef so you can be guaranteed an excellent meal, or snack. A good selection of cakes is always available, especially Welsh favourites like Bara Brith.
The menu includes an all-day cooked breakfast as well as a healthier version, and lunch which includes omelettes, baguettes, paninis, jacket potatoes, salads, burgers, chicken strips, and fish fingers. All types of hot and cold drinks are sold including tea, a variety of coffees, hot chocolate, iced lattes and milkshakes.
The coffee shop is open from 8:30am to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday, although they often stay open later when they are busy.
